Welcome to this cloudy yet chilly Sunday morning, a pleasant surprise after all the rain we have been having

All players present, ready for this hard and important game, Boyne Hill have had a hard weekend this being there second game for the weekend, yesterday ( Saturday) they played Windsor and today they are playing us.

Let’s hope they are not too tired, same goes with our team, who are hopefully not too tired from the “team building” day they had at Chessington world of adventures yesterday, Thank you Michelle and Shaun for sorting out it all out a great day had by all.

Hopefully the team will put the Boyne Hill players in a spin and take them for a fast stomach churning ride today.

Subs this morning are Kameron, Josh, and Jaisharn.

The whistle blows in the first 2 minutes Boyne Hill have got the Ball and dominate the game, if they win today they will get first place in the League, They shoot and the ball goes over the cross bar. Phew that was close

Ben pushing hard in his new position Defence, a position that he is really good at, OUCH! He takes a bad tackle on his shin, he signals to be subbed, and goes off for treatment from the medical team, hopefully he will recovery shortly. Kameron comes on

Boyne Hill have 4 attempts on goal in a matter of seconds Jamie saves 3 of them , Riley saves the other one on the goal line well done guys great team work the Chessington team building trip looks like it’s worked.

The ball goes back down to the Boyne Hill end but they get it back and make a run down the wing they shoot but Craig is there to kick the ball out of play as they take the shot well done Craig

It’s Craig again he now has the ball runs up the wing drawing the Boyne Hill players to him as they get close he slides a pass to Joe then does the same thing and passes it back to Joe, Craig shoots at the goal but AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH their goalie saves the ball great footwork guys, fantastic passing.

Craig has a stich and signals to be subbed he goes off Josh comes on

Boyne Hill keep pushing today with some great footwork, amazing passing these players are very good at knowing where each of their players are around them, they deserve a goal but Burnham Juniors are holding them back.

Boyne Hills number 9 always a player to watch, he shoots but it kisses the side of the goal post, and rolls out of play, Phew, that was close too.

Now it’s Riley he has the ball runs down the pitch passes to Joe who shoots but AAAAHHHH it goes over the cross bar

Now Joe passes to Riley who passes back to Joe whose tackled and the ball goes out for a corner the ball comes in from the corner and slide across the front of the goal.

Burnham Juniors are trying too hard to day, they need to learn to slow themselves down, which will slow the game down, giving them more control. Burnham are a good team we know that they are good they have had an amazing season, but they need to look at new tactics and style of football to compete with the new changes next year, off side rules, bigger pitches, bigger goals.

Its half time and time for refreshments, the team tuck in to their oranges and try to recover and refocus, come on boys you can win this game.

Whistle blows it’s the second half Kameron, Steven and Craig are on the Subs bench.

16 seconds into this second half and Boyne Hill is shooting at the goal, great save Jamie, what an amazing goal keeper you are.

Now its 2 corners first one shoots past the goal the second one Jamie leaps into the air punching the ball clear.

The tackling is hard today from both teams, Jaisharn takes a bad tackle, Jaisharn has been trying to use his fancy footwork again to stop these players in their tracks.

Boyne Hill get the ball again and run up the pitch, they shoot at the goal, jamie sprawls out on the floor just gets his finger nails to it and pushes the ball, it rolls back and taps the goal post OOOOOOHHHHHHH and AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHs coming from the crowd that was lucky.

Now Boyne Hill get a free kick, oh man everybody has their fingers crossed hoping they won’t score they shoot and the ball flies over the crossbar.

Now it`s Liam his face all screwed up like he’s chewing a wasp, he’s not he’s focusing hard he wants the Win he runs towards the Boyne Hill trying to push him out Craig appears and helps Liam squashing the player like a sandwich with the Boyne player being the filling, they push the player out of play great work guys

Now it’s a throw in Boyne Hill win the ball and score its 1 – nil, oh men don’t worry Burnham you can still come back.

Minutes to go and there’s more throw ins, the ball keeps getting pushed out of play and is slowly pushing the players toward the Burnham Juniors end, Boyne Hill are physical around the goal and Jamie and a Boyne Hill player clash the game is stopped for what feels like an eternity as both players get treatment. Luckily they are ok, and play resumes

Not long to go now and the ball is going back and forth Burnham are not giving up Steven smashing the ball up the Boyne hill end for it only to come back down Now it Josh doing the same thing if he’s not smashing the ball he’s trying to get the quick passes in to stop Boyne hill getting the ball. Now Kameron has a turn as he whacks the ball up the playing field.

But then the whistle blows and unfortunately Burnham lose 1- nil, a shame because they could of won or at least drawn today.

Great team work played by all, Burnham need to refocus and look forward to their last 2 games of the season which are next Saturday and Sunday, Its decided that training will be needed on Thursday to review the tactics they will need to beat Slough and Windsor and get 2nd place in the league which they deserve.

As I always say “COME ON BURNHAM YOU CAN DO IT”
