Congratulations to Jake Pope who made his England debut against France last Sunday in a 21-5 victory at Doncasters Castle Park Stadium.Jake started on the bench but came on in the first half ,finishing the match at prop.Jake is currently signed with Sale Sharks under 18s through Myerscough College.Jake a former Blessed Trinity pupil began his playing care as a Burnley RUFC junior in 2004 at the age of 7. He played in various age groups ..before moving to Preston Grasshoppers then Myerscough College and Sale Sharks Academy.Jake still lives in Burnley when home from college ..keeping in touch with his former teammates , training in the holidays with the club and gracing the lower senior sides when he has free time .Can we extend our admiration for his achievement and wish him well in his future career.
