Good day out at Sedgley Park

The youngsters travelled to Sedgley Park with their U7 through to U11 sides . The older ages and girls trained.

The U7 had enough children to have two teams of 5 and all had a good morning of rugby in a three way with the hosts and Altrincham Kersal.

The U8 tags had a squad of 6,they were missing a few due to illness and on holiday but still had a good morning. Both tag teams are always looking for new players and any boys or girls in year 2 or 3 at school will be more than welcome.

The U9 unfortunately this week only travelled with 4 but great credit to Sedgley and Altrincham they both happily welcomed the boys and two went on each team. Moving forward we hope to get more of this age travelling as the previous week their was 10+ available. Again any Year 4 boys and girls who may be keen come along and give it a go, Wednesday at 6.30pm for training or Sunday morning at 10am.

The U10`s are shaping up into a strong team with 12 children travelling and all contributing. They won both their games and scored some good team tries. This week another new player joined the team and fitted in we.New children are always welcome . The aim is to grow the team to 15-20 children ready for 3 years time when they will play 15 A Side matches.

The U11`s again played a triangular with the hosts and Altrincham. Reports from the coach said, "all 7 children did well making big tackles and passing well", again numbers for this group need to grow, with a few players missing as they were at a christening or ill.

Overall a good morning for the boys and girls who made the trip, this week they host Garstang.
