Burnley host Ormskirk in the 1st round of the Lancashire Plate this Saturday ko 3pm . The blue and golds first home draw in many years and against new opposition as the perennial away tie at Southport has been replaced with different opposition though from the same South Lancs / Cheshire League .Tyldesley our first pre season warm up game were also from that league.Ormskirk had a great season last year finishing 4th winning 21 games drawing 1 losing only 4 amassing 943 points and conceding 313 points.Their only losses were to Bowdon and Manchester Medics in the league and Yarnbury in the National Cup.Ref will be Simon Taylor from the Manchester Society in this 3pm ko.
