Interview after his 100th appearance for the club.

After the game I sat down with Liam and got his thoughts on the game and the season so far.

First half we played the conditions, which where very windy, set out for a solid half and defended well all over the pitch. We managed to create a few half chances in the first half and nicked a goal from a goal keeping error, he caught the ball then dropped it again.

In the 2nd half the team created more chances, then Eddie Toner scored the free kick and felt comfortable 2-0 up. Mossley got a few half chances through Burscough mistakes.

I then went on to ask him about his game on a more personal level.

I worked hard and had a few chances, which I should have done better with, worked well up front with Will Jones. The midfield supplied and back up our movement creating Mossley problems.

Started the season well, couple of defeats, now on a run. We have a strong squad and players are fighting for their place every game.

The next thing I asked him about was his big mile-stone of 100 appearances! for the club.

He could hardly believe this and just responded with a big grin on his face.

Liam feels settled at the club, but the league is tough and just keep progressing game by game.

Final question I asked him was about his recent bike ride for charity.

Liam said the charity bike ride was the hardest thing he has ever done, he completed 75 miles on a mountain bike.

He finished up by saying that the dressing room is good and all the players have a laugh. Also that Derek Goulding and Mark Beesley are doing a good job and helping me to develop my game.
