Big Fixture added and pre-season update
Burscough will play Manchester United U21's on Friday 31st July at Victoria Park with a 7.30pm Kick-off.
The club have said: "The fixture is two days after United return from their pre-season tour so we are expecting a lot of big names to be included in the squad".
"Champions league winning goalkeeper Victor Valdes has played with the Under 21's on a number of occasions this season".
"We are hoping for a bumper crowd to see some of the future united stars".
Burscough's pre-season build up continues at pace and despite two defeats at the hands of strong Everton and Blackburn Rovers teams many positives can be taken from the performances and after a 3-0 victory over Burscough Richmond there is a growing confidence around the club.
After Tuesdays game at home against Bootle, in which Burscough FC lose 2-1 after going ahead in the first half of the game. There are also fixtures against local rivals Southport on July 28th at Victoria Park with a 7.30pm Kick-off and away to Skelmersdale United on August 4th kick off 7.45pm.
In the final pre-season game on August 8th they play Marine at Victoria Prk with a 3pm kick-off.
The league kicks off on Saturday 15th August at home to Lancaster City, followed by 2 away trips at Kendal Town on Tuesday 18th August and Ossett Albion on Saturday 22nd August.
