U21 Show Focus & Commitment To The Challenges Ahead By Setting The Pace From The Top.

After 3 consecutive victories going into Sunday’s clash with 1874 Northwich at Victoria Park, Burscough Reserves boss Brian Smith was in good spirits as his team hit form.

Brian Explained “with a combination of players having to work and injuries, this gave other teams opportunity to exploit that”, otherwise we would be in better shape even though we are sat up at the top of the table now”.

The game kicked off in high spirits and Burscough were asking all the questions, Burscough used a great throw in and Thomas Holland flicked on a header which was Dispatched in great style by Peter Smith who started up front.

The second goal came with some great passing and good movement from Burscough and it was great to see Dilon Ocallaghan getting on the scoresheet

By now Burscough were fully in control and it was a brilliant all around performance and as Peter Smith weakened with a groin Strain he delivered a brilliant cross for Dylan Hodkinson to fire the 3rd goal to wrap up the points

On a great day and with Dilon Ocallaghan coming off injured we seen some great football and this now gives us a platform going into Wednesdays evening KO at 7:45 at Victoria Park Burscough against DATEN FC
Please come and support the squad

Manager
