Yellows look to get back on winning track!

Burscough Richmond’s two teams are in action again this weekend and both have away day trips as they look to get back to winning ways after both lost last Saturday!
The 1st team will be looking to eradicate the slightly flattering yet still disappointing 3.6 home defeat by Wyre Villa by travelling in a re-arranged game to Bolton County.
This game is a reverse of the August night time fixture in which the yellows won 2.0, scorers Mike Galliers & Ant Murt.
Richmond are pleased to welcome back James Hanson, Anthony Murt, Ryan Blackwell & Jimmy Green to a squad which is in need of a morale boosting win.
The yellows shall have to perform better than the last time they went to the Bolton in August 2013 where they came unstuck, losing 4 goals to 1, scorer that day was Anthony Murt.

The reserves travel just down the road to take on Hesketh Bank in our derby game. The “resis” fresh on the back of their own top of the table defeat to Burnley last Saturday will also want to put that result behind them and get back to winning ways.
They are boosted by the return to the squad of Byron Sewell & Liam Murphy although there will be a late fitness test on Josh Brierley who injured himself for his Sunday team last weekend.
The 2 sides who have started the season very well will be both looking to take the points and continue the climb up the league however the Burscough team will be hoping for a similar score to last season’s game at Station Road when in the August Monday night fixture the reserve triumphed 5.0, scorers that night where, Sean Rooney, Martin Cliffe 2 & Lee Berrie 2.
The club has an incredible 10 players unavailable for selection this weekend due to mainly injury but we are somehow still able to put out 2 strong teams in the league games which is a credit to the club and the players involved.
