5th Annual Matlock 10s
Fancy a trip to Matlock? Why not go and cheer Burton on at the Matlock 10s this Saturday.
Registration for the tournament is from 9am on Saturday 28th July, at Matlock Rugby Club, Cromford Meadows, Cromford.
The first games in the pool stage kick off at 10am. The top two from each group will proceed to the quarter finals of the cup competition, the bottom two will go through to the plate. The finals are scheduled to take place after 5pm.
Matt Hampson will be attending on the day, and as like previous years we will be holding an auction with all monies raised going to his foundation. For information on Matt's charity please see link. http://www.matthampson.co.uk/mattstory.html
The Matlock 10s is held in conjunction with a beer festival. Over 30 real ales and ciders are available for your "refreshment" along with a BBQ. There are also live bands once the finals finish to take us way into the evening while the sun sets over the glorious rolling hills of Cromford Meadows.
