Whitchurch programme

Today we welcome the players, officials and supporters of Whitchurch, with whom we traditionally have very close encounters. Whitchurch defeated Bournville last week whilst Burton were below par at Sutton; all of which sets up a big game today.

The MW1 results last week were: Moseley Oak 52, Kenilworth 17; Newport (Salop) 53, Hereford 12; Stoke on Trent 12, Dudley Kingswinford 14; Stratford Upon Avon 36, Crewe & Nantwich 22; Sutton Coldfield 18, Burton 16; Whitchurch 36, Bournville 24; Wolverhampton 12, Worcester 24.

In the Jack Baker Room today, Gas and Water Engineering (UK) Limited will be entertaining their guests. We hope everyone has a great day, especially as Ricky Stoakes is celebrating a half century. Both the company and the Stoakes family are great supporters of the club and we owe them our grateful thanks. This support has recently included the donation of a portable defibrillator which is most generous and will allow us to have the same medical backup on the Ox Hay as on Peel Croft.

In the Vic Roebuck Suite Arden Communications are entertaining their guests. Hopefully everyone has an enjoyable visit to Peel Croft. Arden installed the network at the ground which provides wifi access and is a great asset to us.

The A XV continued their great from last week with another significant win over Sutton.

Good luck to the Under 18s at Lutterworth - unfortunately the opponents used home advantage to choose Saturday for the fixture, whilst Burton were hoping for Sunday!

The Christmas Extravaganza and Boxing Day are getting very close now. Hopefully both occasions will be as popular as they normally are.

Finally I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2017.
