Right here's the deal - Mr Chris Ariss and Mr John Cartwright have nominated me for this ice bucket challenge thing - well I have been tardy and will donate the failure donation to the original cause. Now this is where is moves up a level.

I am riding the 60 mile cycle challenge next Sunday for St Giles Hospice one the two chosen Presidents Charity for this season. The target is £500 but so far have only £30 banked so a way to go.

My challenge to all of you out there is the following:
Next Saturday after the 1st team match say 6pm I will put myself up for ridicule of being doused with water on the pitch in front of the stand for all your enjoyment seeing me suffer!

Here's what you have to do to see this happen. For every £100 donated one bucket of water (preferably warm) can be doused over me, but that would be boring for you lot so at least 5 buckets must be the target.

Perhaps the privilege of being the one who douses me could be auctioned off. It would of course be boring to do it on my own so I have enlisted the help of Hon Sec Ian Cartwright and volunteered the club captain Josh Cartwright (he doesn't know it yet) to also be doused at the same time.
