Welcome to the players, officials and supporters from Dudley Kingswinford. Last season the results went in favour of the home team on both occasions and the aggregate score was 38-37 to Burton! The previous season in National 3 Midlands, it was also a home win a piece.

The Match Sponsors today are Else Solicitors. A warm welcome to Chris, the team and their guests. Thanks again for your support of BRFC. We hope that everyone has an enjoyable afternoon.

Welcome and thank you to all of those supporting the President's Lunch today.

Last Saturday saw a first league defeat of the season for Burton. Crewe and Nantwich deserved the win and the second half is one to forget for Burton.

Midlands 1 West results last week were:
Crewe & Nantwich 32, Burton 24; Dudley Kingswinford 28, Bournville 51; Hereford 7, Wolverhampton 24; Kenilworth 25, Whitchurch 15; Moseley Oak 43, Sutton Coldfield 21; Newport 25, Stratford Upon Avon 18; Stoke on Trent 25, Worcester 25.

After the disappointment of Hereford crying off 2 weeks ago the A XV we're back with one heck of a bang last week, to win 98-0 against Walsall. Well done to The Colts who won their first National Cup game.

It was brilliant to see the Little Ruggers on Peel Croft last Sunday and also great numbers over on the Oxhay. Coaching and managing is very rewarding, but grateful thanks from the club to all of those involved.

Long-standing club member Jamie Williams has been unwell, so it was good to see him down at The Croft last Sunday watching the U16s. All the best for your recovery Jamie.

There is a vacancy for the role of writing Match Reports for 1st XV games. If anyone is interested would they please contact me. Car sharing for away games is available.
