Everyone at this point is up for selection, no matter where you think you sit in the pecking order. Those who train well over the pre-season period will be given the opportunity to impress in games and push for their starting spot.
Training will be enjoyable but the main aim is to move this side forward.

We want a group of lads who are desperate to play for each other and have pride in wearing the shirt. As a 1st XV player I expect you to set an example to the rest of the players in the club in terms of the standards you set at training.

Take the opportunity between now and the start of pre-season training to put yourself in contention by getting fit, guys who are not up to the mark will find themselves doing extra running, whereas those guys who are fit will find they have chance to concentrate on more skill based training.

Once we get together as a group, show me what you can do.
I will be selecting players on what I see in training, not on reputations. Show me your strengths and the skill set you can offer the team.

What we will be looking for

- Coachable players
- Players who are proud to represent their club and who set an example to the younger players in the club
- Players who set high standards for themselves at training
- Skilful players
- Winners, positive guys who rise to a challenge
