After many years of tireless volunteer work in local rugby league, Jean has now found yet another role having been co-opted onto the NW Counties Junior association as assistant to the secretary.

Don't fear however, she's still continuing at the heart of the Broncos and continuing the great strides and development at the club.

"It's great for Bury to have good links, especially as we are a relatively new group and I am always happy to help if it supports developing Rugby League in the north west" said Jean upon her appointment.

Club chair Ryan Lewis continued, "It's obviously great for Jean to be a part of such an important committee. The children are always going to be the future of the game, and it's hard to think of anyone better to be involved at that level. Jean tirelessly gives to the game and is an integral part of our continued success."
