Consistently within the rankings as one of the top 5 rugby league websites on the Pitchero network all season, the Bury Broncos website was honoured last week as the best in the North West by the RFL and the North West Men’s League.

After securing the Steve Prescott Award for Community Engagement last year and both Clubmark and the RFL Service Area Club of the Year award in 2012, this most recent award underlines the consistent quality of work from the hardworking backroom volunteers.

Club Secretary, Louise Quinn said “We're always looking to promote the great stuff the Broncos get up to, parents and players alike can keep up to date with all the teams and find all the information they need on fundraising events. The kids really love to read the coaches' write ups from the weekend, though it's probably the grown ups that spend more time looking at pictures of themselves!”

Chairman Ryan Lewis added, “a number of players have made their first contact with the club through the website, something that has been an invaluable tool for junior and senior recruitment over the past few years. This award is extremely well deserved for all the work Danny, Louise and others on the club committee have put in over the years. And I’ve no doubt we’ll continue to provide a strong online presence to match that on the field next season, too!”
