The 2013 North West Mens League Season begins in March! We’ve been provisionally moved to Division 4 of the competition although fixtures are not yet finalised or released. We will also enter the NW Merit League and aim to play a full set of fixtures in each division.

In addition, we have also been entered into the Rochdale, Bolton and Bury development area/district cup competition being played in February. We are the ‘Club of the Year’ in the area so it’s a great chance to further show our progression!

Pre-season therefore begins on Monday January 14th.

Training will take place under floodlights at Bury Athletics Track, Market Street, Bury. Please bring trainers and boots – there must be no walking on the track wearing boots.

Training will be every Monday and Wednesday starting at 7pm. Training will finish prompt at 8pm on Mondays and 8.30pm on Wednesdays – showers are available but we do need to clear the site within 20 minutes of the session ending. Players need to be there ON TIME to maximise the training time available.

As with last season, there is a £1 per session charge per player for pre-season ahead of membership fees being collected before the league starts.

The first few weeks will be mainly focussed on fitness work led by Alex Lewis. He has asked that all players who wear gum-shields in games, also wear them for training.
