Cometh the man, cometh the team!
Due to French Horne Vets not being able to field a team in the final, and after going out controversially by one goal to nil against French Horne in the last minute of extra time in the semi-final Ivor Connolly's Burymead Vets have been asked to step up to the mark and fill the cup final vacancy left by French Horne. (All's fair in love and war!)

Burymead Vets finished runners up in Division 2 and Golden Lion Vets finished runners up in Division 1, therefore it should be a very competitive final with both teams eagerly wanting that last little bit of silverware on offer.

With twenty five vets players having played at some stage this season it will be tough securing a place, and Ivor will no doubt be acquiring a few free games of golf with so few places up for grabs. (Just joking Ivor, I've booked a double round at Turnberry though just in case, wink, wink)
