Under 14's - Report
Date: Sunday 6th November 2011 - Kick Off: 11:00
Suffolk Plate Competition
| Woodbridge | 0 | vs | 67 | Bury St Edmunds RUFC U14: Home of ULR7s |
Clear winners but at a cost..
Bury U14 have an almost perfect start to their Suffolk Plate campaign
Bury U14 were not troubled at during a very one-sided comtest at Woodbridge and came out clear winners with a solid team effort and a strong work ethic throughout the match.
The only downside to a great result was an injusry to Dougie McDowell who broke his arm in the first few moements of the match. Dougiex is always in the thick of the action and nearly always comes off best in terms of turnovers and tackles; today however an unlucky fall got the better of him.
Thank you to the first aid support at Woodbridge which was on hand quickly to help out.
Everyone wishes Dougie a speedy recovery and a quick return to causing havoc to our opposition.
Our next plate game is this weekend at home to Clacton
