Magnificent Three Help Secure Derbyshire Victory
Buxton's Magnificent Three Sparkle Under Lights as Derbyshire Win 10 - 36 Away.
The Derbyshire squad arrived at Sleaford RUFC brimming with confidence after their recent away win to Nottinghamshire at Mellish.
Buxton's two previous squad members were joined by Greg Mellor fresh from his recent NLD under 20's triumphs.
Lincolnshire fielded a small mobile squad this was soon put under pressure by the more physical athletic Derbyshire squad.
Scotty and Josh started and it wasnt long before Scotty's trade mark grit and gile was on show with some bit hits and generally allround aggressive play.
Josh started at 7 and then soon moved to secondrow where the additional mobility pace and power started to tell along with his salmon like lineout prowess a recently acquired skill.!!
Greg was introduced after the break and soon started to cut his normal scything lines running from deep to great effect.
The general contribution by the boys to the squad effort and win was magnificent and they certainly matched the level 6 boys with ease on the night, well done.
