Club Pitch Conditions

Gents,

The pitch conditions at the club are extremely hazardous. The weekends match's have taken there toll and we now have a deep frost.

In terms of training none of the pitch's can be used. Lillyput is dangerous and rutted. The First XV pitch I managed to roll last night under the lights and is flat but solid, this must not be used this week as it has been prepared for the weekend league fixture, and further rutting would rule it as unplayable, I doubt we will be able to play on it as it is in any case.

The second team pitch I tried to get to roll today and it was to hard with a deep frost in it now and it is extremely dangerous.

The forecast is for further harder frost and deeper minus temperatures for the rest of the week so all training is suspended due to risk of injury.

If anyone has any comment please make it or give me a ring.

gents, all pitches continue to be unusable, i wqill keep you posted, I went up late this afternoon and they are all dangerous rutts under snow, so even if they look ok to do somework they are not underneath, a slow thor isnot flooding them quite badly and then freezing into large ponds.!! keep u posted.
