Promotion Clash
Home Support Needed for Saturday's Promotion Clash.
Buxton First XV host Parkonians on Saturday at Sunnyfields in a top four promotion and must win clash.
Parkonians travel by coach Saturday with travelling supporters in abundance booked on the coach so lets have a big turn out by the home fans to supportthe boys on.
After the narrow defeat by penalties and some dubious refereeing away from home earlier in the season Buxton are confident of turning the tables at home.
A re shuffled pack should add much needed stability and better quality ball to that secured away from home and despite the pressure that we encountered in the scrumage we were always in the game and aside of some long range penaties would have won away.
So let's see some support help make the difference at home and keep our promotion homes alive.

We beat these guys last year with a big performance, (a real turning point) and there is no reason why we can not do it again! They will be tough, but if we keep the penalties low and take our chances then 'No-One Is Safe!'
This is a big weekend for the 2nds as well. They also have a home top of the table clash against the only side they have lost to this season.
Correction!!! Lost to Twice
Two massive games then. I am sure the 2nds will come out on the winning side, I know how much effort Rob and the lads have put in this season and how gutted he was to narrowly loose to Heaton Moor away in the league last time. Good luck fellas!
Chaps, The First team must win Saturday or we will have littel chance of promotion, whilst I accept that the Second XV game is a big one as well for all the players concerned the First XV provides the barometer and profile for the future development of the club so let's get behind those boys as well and spur them on to victory, hopefully we will have a big turn out at training then this week from the Second XV to help aid the victory trail.
I'm sure both teams will have a good weekend. I'll be there tonight and Thursday for training be good to see a full turnout of both teams where possible.

Brave talk, lets hope that you can back it up at Buxton Saturday! I'm sure the lads won't need much winding up now!!!, ha ha good effort.
Great session last night boys, same again tomorrowwith more focus, good to see that we getting up for the game and in good shape, it will be a stern test but preperation is the key, keep it up.
