Since starting with the Rhinos Elizabeth has proven herself to be extremely brave and committed to everything rugby league related. Not the biggest person in the world she shows no fear on the pitch when facing off against some of the more experienced players from the opposition.
Over the course of the last 18 months, Elizabeth has been determined to knuckle down and get stuck in and all her hard work has come to fruition over the last few weeks through the month of May.

Elizabeth’s passion has grown and grown, especially since her team started playing full contact rugby and she has been determined to earn herself plaudits in her matches by working incredibly hard to try and achieve the player of the week awards for her team. This goal was achieved this month when she won the award not just once, but 2 games on the run for 2 great performances.

Head coach Jack Kelly said “Elizabeth has been showing, and proving, that her passion for rugby league has grown massively. Her hard work and determination has seen her earn the player of the week award 2 weeks running and earn her nomination for this award. Her drive and passion for the game is amazing to see at both training and matches - Keep up the good work Elizabeth!”

Having now excelled and achieved her goal it’s clear to everyone that knows Elizabeth and seen her play that she full well intends to kick it up another gear now. Away from the pitch she is a whole different kettle of fish though, everything that she says and does is done with a polite, courteous and respectful nature. A very kind and well liked young lady by her peers and many others around the club that aren’t directly involved with her team.
