The excitement mounts with another full league programme this week. There is still a lot to play for with some cracking matches in prospect on Saturday. Last week's outcomes went more or less to form but could there be an upset on the cards in this week's results?. Some matches may start at 2pm so it might be advisable to check/or go early anyway and have a couple of pre-match pints.!!

Bottom club Bro face a monumental task when they host league leaders Nant. Despite recent spirited performances they have been unable to get the results to move out of the relegation zone. Nant cannot afford any slip ups in their quest for the title and with a fixture build up due to their SWALEC Plate success they will be keen to get another victory under their belt. Nant ran out a comfortable 34-5 winners earlier in the season, this match could be closer but they should come away with the points.

Bethesda fresh from their six try home win against Rhuthin travel to Caernarfon. The Cofis lost out at Llandudno last weekend in a hard fought encounter. These sides who share the highest bonus points (12 each) in the league have already met three times this season, Pesda have won twice with the other match drawn. Whilst home advantage will play a part, on form Bethesda may have the edge.

Cobra host Llandudno whom they beat 24-18 on their visit to the seaside earlier this season. Tudno who have been bolstered with the return of some of their RGC 1404 players had a great win on Saturday against Caernarfon and will be keen to maintain their good form which have seen them ease up the table. Cobra came away from Bro last week with a hard fought victory and know the importance of getting the points in this match as they have a difficult set of matches in their remaining fixtures. Home advantage may tip the balance in a close encounter.

Mold who have quietly gone about their business notched up their seventh consecutive league win last week with a 20-19 success at Dinbych. This Saturday they welcome Dolgellau who beat them 6-5 in the corresponding match. The visitors who have battled their way to the North Wales Cup Final have suffered from poor league form and whilst they are fully capable of causing an upset Mold's overall power could prove too much.

Great match in prospect at Pwllheli when they welcome current league champions Bala. When these sides met earlier this season it was a closely fought affair with Pwll edging a 16-14 victory. Bala travelled to league leaders Nant last week and took them to the wire gaining a losing bonus in their 17-10 defeat . The home side enjoy one of the best 'points scored ' record in the league whilst Bala have one of the league's top defensive record. It should make for an exciting encounter with perhaps Pwll's attacking prowess enough to maintain their title hopes.

Its local derby time at Rhuthin where rivals Dinbych make the short trip up the road. The home side's poor run of form continued at Bethesda last week when they conceded six tries and they badly need a win to boost confidence and get back on track. Dinbych narrowly missed out on precious relegation avoiding points when they lost 20-19 at home to Mold. This promises to be a cracker and difficult to predict -Rhuthin won comfortably 36-14 earlier in the season but Dinbych's determination may be enough to take the badly needed points.
