Dear Mini’s Parent,
We are delighted to announce details of this season’s minis tour which will be held over the weekend of 31st March and 1st April 2012.
The administrative arrangements will be different this year as we are using the services of SEC who are professional tour organizers. Their collective purchasing power is such that their appointment has no impact on our tour costs.
This year we will be staying in Blackpool, and we have been able to secure two high quality fixtures. On Saturday we will play Preston Grasshoppers RFC, and on Sunday we will be entertained at Fylde RFC.
Overnight accommodation has been arranged at the 4 star Imperial Hotel in Blackpool,
where evening entertainment will be provided for the children.
The cost of the tour will be £95 per person. This will include executive coach travel, accommodation at the hotel on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, evening entertainment for the children, tour T shirts for the players and tour polo shirts for the adults.
Under the new arrangements we are required to make stage payments to the organizers. A payment of £45 per person is required with your booking. Further payments of £25 per person will be due by 31st January and 28th February. You can, of course, pay the full amount on booking if you wish.
This is always the highlight of the minis season and numbers are limited so please reserve your places as soon as possible. The success of the tour depends on your support, and the new payment system, whilst spreading the burden of cost, does mean we need your commitment now rather later as in past years.
A booking form accompanies this letter which should be sent, with your cheque made payable to Caldy RUFC, to Ant Fletcher at 19, Gresford Ave, West Kirby, CH48 6DA. Ant can also be contacted at caldyrugby@me.com or on 07973 960789.
Unfortunately, owing to RFU regulations, U6’s are not able to take part in the tour…………………next year guys!
