Caldy RUFC Summer Ball

Caldy RUFC celebrated season 2011/12 in style at the club's summer ball and despite the poor weather everyone had a great night.

The event was held for the first time at Neston Cricket Club who were excellent hosts and many thanks must go to them for their efforts.

Many thanks must go to Lynn Ridgway, Margaret Walker and Lyndsey Smith for all of their hard work and effort in putting together the event.

The event also saw the club's Player of the Year Andrew Soutar complete his hattrick with his third such award in four years and JJ Dickinson won the Young Player of the Year for the second successive season.

Margaret Walker received the Clubman of the Year award for her tireless work for the club.

Gareth Davies was made a Vice President for his continual efforts for the club.

Last but not least Roger Flashman was award a Lifetime Membership following his retirment from the Senior Committee after 61 years. Roger also received a commemorative tankard from the RFU for his contribution to Community Rugby. Well deserved Roger!
