The U14 girls lead the way with the Colts only win of the weekend!

Both DJM Mini-Soccer sides had tough matches on Saturday, the U9s hosted Ivybridge and the U10s were away at MAP Juniors. Both teams battled hard to the end. Ashton Boud and Cadan Bassett took the Player of the Match awards for the Colts in those games.
The U11s played out a hard fought 1-1 draw with AFC Plympton, Rhys Lindsell was awarded Player of the Match. I haven't been given the Colts scorer in that game.
The U12s were away at Plymstock, despite holding he hosts to 1-1 at half time, Plymstock proved too strong in the second half, running out eventual 6-2 winners. Again, I don't have the scorers for the Colts, Owen Patton was Player of the Match.
The U13s had a tough day on the road at SB Frankfort, they were beaten 5-1, as seems to be the case today, I don't have our scorer for that game. Joe Bell with the Player of the Match award.
The U16s welcomed Edgemoor to Marshfield Parc, two Connor Ward goals and one for Bradley Stevens meant that the points were shared in a 3-3 draw. Jake Mead-Cribbin was given Player of the Match for the Colts.

On Sunday both the U12 and U14 Girls hosted Launceston at St German's Road. a large amount of spectators were treated to a feast of football. After a close first half, the U12s finally succumbed to the vistors, eventually losing 5-2 (this score is currently being debated!)
The U14 Girls provided the Colts with their only win of the weekend. They won their game 14-2, at least one of the opposition goals coming from a Colts player who had been 'loaned' to Launceston for the match.
Wish i had more goalscorers names to provide, hopefully the managers can give me an update.
Well done to everyone involved this weekend.
Come on you Colts!
