Positive feedback.

It is a credit to all involved in the Calverton U17 set up, both on the park and on the sidelines that we have received the following feedback.

The following is an extract taken from NYL website:

"Well done to Calverton MW U17'S and Trowell F.C U18's. Your match day referee has commended you both under 'Respect Best Practice' on his Match Report from Sunday 26th February. The attitude of the players, Club officials and spectators was 'particularly good'as was the hospitality from the home club. Both captains also assisted the referee in controlling the game."

As we approach the final six games of the season, it is comments like this should only inspire us to build on the success, positive reputation and relationships that we have developed over the short period since this newly formed team has been in existence.

There is more to sport than winning football matches (though 3 points and a clean sheet on a Sunday are hard to whack!). If we can win and be respectful to our opponents in the process, then we have achieved what we set out to and should be justifiably proud of our success.

With six very important games to go, we need also to respect each other and back the team 100% during the 'push' to try and get over the line.
