A very hot success

“Just wanted to say a big thanks for today. My boys loved it and the parents said what a great atmosphere.” Dan Coles Laurel Park Hurricanes U8

So after many hours hard work this weekend saw our 26th Annual Tournament take place at Redwood. 148 teams ranging from U7 through to U14 descended on us for 2 very hot days of football fun and action. Thanks to all the teams who took part and congratulations to all our winners over the weekend.

A huge thank you to all the coaches and parents of our club who gave up their time over the weekend to ensure the tournament would run as smoothly as it did. Without their support it just would not be possible.

A big thanks also to our band of referees. It was very hot out there and they did an excellent job in helping keep the tournament going.

Finally a big thanks to the more experienced among us who gave up the whole of their weekend to run the tournament. Your support is greatly appreciated by all who take part.

Next up is the Girls tournament on 9th July. Surely it cannot be as hot !
