Camborne Cricket Club

With the Vinter Cup match with Barripper proposed for Monday Evening, the latest pitch inspection was showing a bit of moisture in the wicket! With this in mind, Camborne are hoping to open the bowling from the Deep End! Fielding positions will be dependent on tide times, with a potential under-current from Heathcoats direction, proving another tricky factor. First aid kits will be provided by the RNLI, who will also be providing "Ball-Buoys" for the game. It is likely to be a low scoring affair, as anyone who has ever tried to run in Flippers will appreciate. The line-up will probably consist of "MainSTREAM" 2nd XI members, however the conditions are expected to suit the likes of Sam POOLey, Kieran WestLAKE, Dave WELLS and BEACHer in particular and skipper Bicks will be Moored up on middle stump. Rusty however is likely to miss out altogether.

Spectators,who are expected to be "Flooding" in, are advised that fishing licences will be available from the Cluhouse.

CCC were hoping to make a big SPLASH this season, but this isn't exactly what we were expecting. Anyway, time for me to WAVE goodbye!!!
