Cherry & Whites provide a cash boost for Charity
On Saturday 4th Sept prior to Camborne Rugby Club’s first South West One game of the new season the Cherry & Whites presented a cheque for the fantastic sum of £2,935-00 to last season’s adopted charity Cornwall Hospice Care.
Fundraising activities took place through the 2009/10 season and included a parachute jump by 4 intrepid Club members, bucket collections at home games and a gig by popular Cornish ska band Rudi’s Message.
Karen Holman on behalf of the Charity thanked the Club for their tremendous fundraising efforts throughout the season which was hugely appreciated and would be of great benefit to the local community.
This season chosen Charity will be the 'Help for Hero's' so please support this very worthwhile cause.
