Volunteer Vacancies at Camborne RFC
Coach - Colts (under 17 to 19 age group)
Youth rugby is very important at the Cherry & Whites with most of our Colts players making the natural progression to the 1st & 2nd team squads. As an amateur club it is our aim to produce players to the highest standard possible so the transition to senior rugby is a smooth one. We feel we have the facilities here at the REC including a floodlit training pitch, 2 club physiotherapists and all the training kit you will require.
The person we are looking for will need to be dedicated, able to attend training sessions on Monday & Wednesday evenings plus matches on Saturdays and do all this for no financial reward. In addition to this you will need coaching qualifications and the ability to get the best out of a large and diverse group of 16-19 year olds. In return the club will give you its full support, provide you with the tools to do the job and a squad of talented youngsters who are keen to learn and progress.
We are an ambitious club with a young talented head coach who has already taken a team to Twickenham and won the Western Counties league at his first attempt. Our youth set up has recently produced players who are currently playing in the Championship with Plymouth Albion and one who is in the Premiership with Exeter and as also represented Fiji. We are looking for a winner to join our coaching staff, someone who takes pride in what he does and to whom the satisfaction of a job well done is enough reward.
