From Keep fit and Walking rugby for the over 50's to maintenance and Rugby League.

Although it's the Summer there's always something going on at the REC these days.

Tuesday Evening is a busy night at the club;
It's fitness time in the Clubhouse with two sessions from 'Circuits r us' (5-6 and 6-7pm) These sessions are aimed at the over 50's with a gentle workout which aims to just give older people a way to stay in shape. Why not give this popular class this a go, at £18 for 6 sessions it won't break the bank and the benefits to your health speak for themselves.

From this Tuesday we are proud to be hosting the new craze which is sweeping the nation 'Walking Rugby'. Again aimed at the over 50's this gives those who've retired from the game but miss it a way to play a non tackling alternative that has the added effect of giving you a gentle workout and It's FREE!!

There's are a lot of jobs to be completed with the changing rooms, pitch perimeter, toilet block and turnstiles all needing painting and updating. So please feel free to come along and lend a hand, even if it's just for the odd Tuesday, every little helps!!

On Wednesday evening (from 7pm) the Cornish Rebels rugby league squad will be training on the REC. The Rebels are Cornwall's only league team and are always looking for new players to join them. So if you are interested or know anyone over 16 who've might be then please come along and give it a go!

Saturday 'Rugby League comes to the REC' - Cornish Reblels v Teignmouth Trojans (2.30pm k.o). The Rebels start South West League campaign at home to new boys Teignmouth, at just £2 admission it's great value. So come along and support the County's only rugby league club, lets help them get off to a great start!
