New players more than welcome to come and join the Cherry & Whites fast growing section.

Camborne Rugby Club’s women and girls have begun their pre season training as the Cherry & Whites fast growing new section looks to build on the foundations laid over the past 18 months.

The Cherry & Whites players reflected on these achievements recently when celebrating in style at their end of season presentation. Certificates and achievement medals to congratulate the girls on all their hard work and success were presented by Terry Williams, Hon Secretary of Camborne RFC.

Gifts were presented by the senior girls,Tegan Smith, Michaella Roberts and Morgan Bradley to each of the coaches, Dave Roberts, Adrian Smith, Sean Carpenter and Sean Maddern and also to Tira Pellowe.
The outstanding successes of Michaella Roberts were also celebrated. She has just taken part in the Divisional summer
camp at RAF Cosford, Wolverhampton which included players from all four regional divisions and has now been accepted into the National talent development group, making her one of only 40 elite players in the Country.

After a superb buffet supper Team Manager, Kevin Oates, gave a presentation highlighting the achievements of the past season and looking forward at the aims for the forthcoming year.
Head Coach Dave Roberts then gave a closing speech and thanks to all for their energy and support.

New players aged 12 and over interested in the game are most welcome to come along on Monday evenings (6-7.30pm) where the experienced coaches will be concentrating on non contact/fitness work initially.
Just come along to Crane Park, Camborne or contact Dave Roberts on 07523 419992 for more info.
