Congratulations to Cornwall on their incredible 35 - 13 County Championship victory over Cheshire at Twickenham today. Especially those current and former Cherry & Whites who were involved in the special day.
Sam Matatavesi started the season at the REC and played a big part in helping 'Town' gain promotion. New Head Coach Ian Morgan was Graham Dawe's right hand man and helped mastermind the win and will now turn his attention to preparing Camborne for National League rugby.
Twice winner Damian Cook who's made a huge impact on the team since joining halfway through the season, Physio Lauren Albury who's worked so hard for club and County all season. Last but by no means least the man who's won more trophy's than any other Cornish rugby player in the past 13 months Tony Whittle.
Tony's picked up 2 County Championship medals, 2 County Cup winners medals and a South West 1 winners trophy, just reward for this talented forward.
A special mention must also go to Richie Kevern who narrowly missed out on selection but was included in the traveling reserves. Richie made the bench for the game at the REC but was unfortunate not to come on, so we hope that this will change next season.
