150+ guests enjoy a superb evening in the newly refurbished 'Town Bar'

Camborne Rugby Club have a facility to be proud of having completed their £20,000 makeover following their Transforming Social Spaces Grant from the RFU.

The Club showcased their superbly refurbished facilities at Crane Park at a prestigious sell out Charity Dinner on Friday 20th March.
An impressive150 guests were seated in style to enjoy an excellent meal and after dinner treated to an audience with former Wales and British Lions International legend JPR Williams MBE.

The excellent fayre was provided by the Club’s caterers ‘Scrummages’ with attentive front of house and table services courtesy of the hospitality students from Cornwall College.

Proceeds exceeded £2500 from this Charity Dinner (splendidly MC’d by Bill Hussey) and a variety of fundraising activities held on the night will be shared in aid of the RNLI (Penlee Station) and the 'Raising the Bar' projects.

Camborne Rugby Club is grateful to a number of generous sponsors for their support of the evening including Abbots Event Hire, Etherington’s Meats, Rodda’s, Bookers, Miller & Son and LWC(Jollys).
