The players should be issued with a couple of free passes for each home game so they can give them to wives/girlfriends etc, it's the least we can do for them.

If partners have to pay then the players will not play so they better sort it out before the next home game.

Camborne rugby clubs family ethios; looking after the players, wifes and children has been the foundations of this great clubs success for years and stand's us out among the other local rival club's,,,, lets not forget that!!! Surely all current payed players, wives and dependents should not pay? Come on committee it is not the Premiership we have not got players wages to cover? If the kids are happy, then the wives are happy, if the wives are happy the hubby's happy, If it is not broken, don't fix it!

Good comments Kelvin . There appears to be a misunderstanding of long standing arrangements which I will clarify tonight and subsequently make players aware more clearly asap.

Ladies and gentlemen, can we please get real over the paying for entry to games issue: for a start can we deal in facts, not whispers and third hand quotes from people who should know better. There is no intentionwhatsoever to charge players, their wives girlfriends or even boyfriends if you are that way inclined! John Lamsin was charged by mistake and that has been rectified.

The object in people producing membership cards at the gate is for one simple reason only - a number of people are gaining entry to the ground without paying. They are either past players or members who are not paid up members of the club for this season. These people are cheating you the paid up players/members out of funds necessary for the better running of this club. This will cease. This is all there is to it. No more no less. so wise up and get real!!

Well said Terry. There is nothing more frustrating than knowing that "supporters" of the club are getting into matches without paying and not contributing to the future of the club and it's objectives.
Indeed the gate people who are paid up members do not even get to see the whole match.

I agree with most of the sentiments above, that people who are are not paid up members or players/wives/partners etc. should pay what is due and if they try to get away with not paying it has to be questioned whether they are true Camborne supporters!! That said, I do have a gripe and that is the beer prices! Where are the club prices? I played Euchre in the railway club in Redruth last night and it cost me £2:70 for a pint of Guinness but it costs me £3:50 at the Rugby club! Maybe, if the beer prices were a little cheaper and reflected the fact that it was a members club then perhaps those that currently avoid paying to watch the game might just put their hand in their pockets!! Not that I'm suggesting this justifies in any way not paying to get in.

does the above apply to parents coming to watch their son who played for the club since mini and junior sections running all over the county also other players taking the cost of fuel if these parents didnt do this their would be no club i think sometimes parents put more into the club than a players partner
