Redruth reserves have stepped in to fill the fixture void after Lanner pulled out of this weekends friendly clash.
So the Cherry & Whites second string will have a testing clash against the favourites to win the newly formed 'Duchy League' which starts next Saturday.
Selectors are hoping to name a large squad for what will be just the second friendly for the team. This match will be a barometer for the forthcoming campaign and show the coaches how well prepared the squad are.
With no 1st team match on and Redruth's National league side playing away the club are hoping for a good turnout for what will be two strong lineups.
The team will be named after training on Thursday when the coaches will be hoping to see a good turnout from their 2nd XV players.
