Camborne are pleased to announce the signing of back row forward Sam Matavesi . Sam who was part of Cornwall's successful County Championship campaign returns to the REC after a spell with National League 1 Plymouth Albion.
Sam had a great strike record for Camborne last season scoring 15 tries in 10 South West 1 matches prior to his departure. It's slightly ironic that his first match for 'Town' will be against Albion in a pre-season friendly.
Head Coach Ian Morgan is delighted to have pulled off such a marquee signing for the club just weeks before they make a return to National League rugby.

Sam will be working as the clubs Youth Development Officer so will no doubt be a big hit in this role.
