Don't forget to ask for your tokens every time you shop at Tesco's, every little helps!

Camborne Rugby Club is bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.
Voting begins on Saturday 1st July and Camborne Rugby Club needs your support to bag a share of the bag charge fund.
The Club want to make the changing facilities at the Recreation Ground modern and appropriate for both sexes and to redesign these areas to assist with cleaning, functionality and future maintenance.

The project is to provide new showers, hand basins and toilets and redecoration of the four changing areas.

You can vote for our project every time you visit the Tesco Store in Wesley Street, Camborne.
Voting is open throughout July and August. To vote, you will need to make a purchase within store of any value. You will receive one token per transaction and it's not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token.

Make sure you ask for a token or just take one at the tills, they are not always given out automatically. If there are none available, request that the till operator contacts the till manager to help find one.
Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from the 5p bag levy – being awarded to local community projects.
Three groups in every Tesco region have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant.

Tesco’s Bags of Help project has already delivered over £28.5 million to more than 4,000 projects up and down the UK. Tesco customers get the chance to vote for three different groups every time they shop. Every other month, when votes are collected, three groups in each of Tesco’s regions will be awarded funding.
Funding is available to community groups and charities looking to fund local projects that bring benefits to communities. Anyone can nominate a project and organisations can apply online.
