A totally different challenge awaits the Cherry & Whites this Saturday.

Last weekend the Cherry & Whites hosted the league leaders who were looking for the win which would secure them the title. This Saturday the squad entertain bottom of the table Lydney and with the visitors 19 points from safety they know anything less than a 5 point victory will see them relegated.

When the teams last met Camborne sustained a heavy defeat up in Gloucester, with what was one of our worst displays of the season, so the visitors will be looking to complete a double! Win lose or draw we know that 'Lyd' will throw everything at us as they did Bournemouth a couple of weeks ago when they put 47 points on the playoff contenders.

The coaches will be doing their upmost to ensure that there's no complacency from the team, who are currently the in form side in the table with 4 straight victories.
Although lock Ben Kemp, centre Josh Semmens and full back Murray Westren are all still injured selectors will be hoping to welcome back Captain Jon Drew, flanker Jordan Rose and wing Ben Tyler-Guy, all of whom missed the win over Dings.

With no 6 Nations rugby to complete with and good weather expected the club are anticipating a large crowd at the REC for what is the penultimate home match of the season.
