Camborne name Fijian trio in starting lineup for triple header with St Ives and Truro.
The Cherry & Whites have selected their strongest available squad for tomorrow's first home run out of the season when they entertain St Ives and Truro.
The club have been extremely busy recruiting during the Summer and supporters will get their first chance to see the new signings in action. Selectors will be hoping for some Fijian flare as they name Sam and Joel Matavesi plus Taff Roko in the starting XV and If pre season training is anything to go by everyone at the REC tomorrow will be in for a real treat.
Former Redruth and Cornwall wing Tom Notman is also in the starting lineup and as he showed up at Albion last Sunday his pace, strength and experience will make him a real handful for defences. Another ex Red Brad Howe will make his home debut, his all action style of play is sure to make him a big hit with supporters.
Camborne have a very strong bench including more new signings like former Cornwall u20's flanker Sam Furse who's joined from Newquay. Sam impressed when guesting for the club against Albion on Sunday where he showed no nerves against National 1 opposition. Royal Navy lock John Lamsin is another player who has returned to the club follow a spell at Redruth and he will be looking to impress when he comes off the bench. With Dave Roberts, Sam Bartle and Murray Westren also among the replacements Camborne will be looking for big performances against their Western Counties opponents.
The triple header kicks off at 2.30 with a 40 minute match Camborne v Truro, so don't be late and remember admission is FREE!
