After dropping to 4th place in the table Camborne will be looking to restore confidence when the heavily depleted squad visit a resurgent Salisbury this week.
The hosts are enjoying an upturn in form having won 3 games on the spin for the first time this season. The Cherry & Whites will take some comfort from the fact that the religation threatened club have suffered 5 defeats on their Castle Road ground this term.
This is the teams second of three consecutive matches against clubs in the religation zone, but with them all fighting to stay up these are far from easy fixtures. With the amount of players either injured or unavailable selectors will be hoping to see more of the squad declaired fit for the trip to Wiltshire on Saturday. Next weeks league fixture break can't come soon enough for the team with a number of the squad needing the rest and giving others a chance to regain their fitness.
With 9 games remaining the club will be looking to cement a top 3 finish, something they would have settled for prior to the start of the season. For this to happen the team needs not only a win but a good performance at the weekend, something which is more than acheivable with the the talent we have in the squad.
To add to the teams woes leading points scorer David Mankee is out with a hamstring issue he picked up at home to Ivybridge and made worse at Launceston last week. Unavailability has also robbed the squad of Martin Woolcock and Rhodri Mcatee which takes the total of senior players missing to 15. But the squad are in confident mood and won't lack for a kicker with both Rhys Brownfield and Murray Westren in good form with the boot, spirits are still high at the Cherry & Whites.
