McDonald's kits out Cambourne youth football team

McDonald's franchisee Claude Abi-Gerges has donated brand new football kit and equipment to the Cambourne FC Spartans under-12s team.
Abi-Gerges, who owns four restaurants around Cambridge, is a keen supporter of grassroots football, and has stepped in to support the club as part of the McDonald's Community Football Programme.
He said: "Cambourne FC Spartans are a fantastic example of a well-run club, which offers football for everyone in the local community. We are very much looking forward to seeing how the team progress throughout the season."
Spartans' Richard Rowell added: "The kids absolutely love wearing their new strip. Having the kit has created fantastic unity and team spirit and has given the team extra motivation."
