1sts claim comfortable win in first home match

It was a successful Saturday for CUPFC as the 1st team picked a win in their first home match of 2018-19.

Comberton took an early lead before headers from Erskine and Godden ensured a 2 - 1 scoreline at half time. CUP missed chances in the second half to extend the lead, but comfortably held on to win their second match in three.

Both sides are in their final midweek action at this stage of the season, with the 1sts hosting Hemingfords United on Tuesday night before the Reserves play Royston Town A at the Cass on Wednesday - each one a 6.15 kick off.
