1st team win 6 - 4 away; Reserves lose 1 - 0 at home

Saturday had mixed results for CUP, as the 1sts were victorious and Reserves narrowly defeated 1 - 0.

The 1st team made the trip to Cambourne to face Kershaw Premier bottom side Cambridge City Development aiming to get the win and continue the unbeaten run. A slow start saw the hosts take a 3 - 0 lead, before CUP got into gear and fought back. The match ended 6 - 4 to CUP - with 4 different scorers - Conlon, Godden, Heron (2) and Knight-Percival (2).

The Reserves hosted Thaxted Rangers at the Cass, welcoming back a few experienced players. Despite CUP being the more dominant side, it was the visitors who took the lead midway through the 1st half. The 2nd half was no different, CUP defensively solid but often sloppy in attack, and unable to get the equaliser to earn at least a draw.
