Last night the 1sts won 4 - 1 on penalties against Foxton in Round 1 of Fulbourn FC's Terry Wilson Trophy, after the match ended 1 - 1 after 90 minutes. Jos scored early for CUP before Foxton equalised very late on. Barney saved two of the spot kicks as Bradley, George, Sam and Mark all converted to send us into the semi-final - where they'll play the winner of tonight's match between Linton Granta and West Wratting.

Tuesday night saw the Reserves face higher league opposition in the form of Senior A's Orwell at Comberton Village College's 3G, with the match played over three sets of 30 minutes. Our opponents led 3 - 0 after 60 minutes, with good football played by both teams. CUP stepped it up in the final period with an impressive performance, fighting back to lead 4 - 3 and hold on to win. Lee claimed a hat-trick and Sam Townshend also notched.

This Saturday both teams are in their first pre-season friendlies at home. The 1sts host Lakenheath at 1pm followed by the Reserves vs Sawston Rovers at 3pm. The Cass Centre bar wiill be open.
