November a tough month for the 1sts and Reserves

8 matches played in the fourth month of the season, with both teams suffering defeats

November was the toughest month of the season so far for CUP FC, with each team playing 4 matches and losing 3.

The 1st team claimed picked up their win of the month on Saturday 25th, a 2 – 1 victory at Foxton in the Kershaw Premier. They lost twice in the league, going down 3 – 1 at home to Hemingfords United on Saturday 4th and losing 3 – 0 on the road at Eaton Socon on Saturday 18th. Saturday 11th saw CUP in Kershaw Premier League KO Cup quarter-final action, being knocked by a 4 – 0 defeat at Cherry Hinton.
The Reserves struggled more than the 1sts in November, picking up only one point in their three Senior B league matches. This came on Saturday 4th drawing 1 – 1 at Lakenheath Reserves. On Saturday 18th, they were narrowly beaten 1 – 0 at Red Lodge, followed by a 3 – 2 loss at home to Whittlesford United on Saturday 25th. They battled bravely at higher league Ely City Reserves on Friday 10th in the cup, going down 3 – 2.

Notable contributions:
1. The 1sts scored 3 goals in November – Dan, Jose and James Godden on the scoresheet
2. The Reserves grabbed 5 goals from 5 different scorers – Adem, Kenny, Kienen, Ryan Traynier and Strikes
