Reserves win their Senior B clash 2 - 0; 1sts have a week off

With a week off for the 1st team, it was only the Reserves in action on Saturday as they hosted March Town United Reserves in Senior B.

A goal from Ryan T after 25 minutes helped a reasonably dominant Reserves lead at half time, before Ben finished coolly midway through the second half to double the lead. Further chances were to come for CUP, who kept a well-organised March at bay, but without avail.

The Reserves won the match 2 - 0 and leapfrogged the visitors in the Senior B table, moving up to 10th.

Both teams are in action this weekend, weather permitting, as the 1sts host Cherry Hinton in the Kershaw Premier and the Reserves play the reverse fixture against March Town United Reserves.

Before then, training is currently due to take place this evening at the Cass, starting at 6.30pm.
