Serious injury sees Reserves match on Saturday abandoned

A serious injury to club captain Andy George saw the Reserves match at AFC Barley Mow on Saturday abandoned after 29 minutes.

Andy landed awkwardly after attempting to meet a free kick into the opponents box with his head. The hosts were 2 - 0 up at the time following two great 25 yard strikes.

The match will be replayed later in the season, with a date to be confirmed in due course.

CUP FC sends its best wishes to Andy and hopes for a speedy recovery.
