Sad news for the Ford again.
Dave Salisbury passed away on 23rd December.
Dave Sailsbury passed away on 23rd December.
Once again Camelford RFC will be in mourning for the loss of another member. Following a long illness Dave Sailsbury passed away last evening. Dave was our first President and was (and still will be) an inspirational man who had a massive passion for the club and rugby. He is a big losss to mankind and will be a big loss to our fledgling club. R.I.P. my dear mate.

Dave will be missed by all who knew and loved him, his own family and his rugby family.
Dave was a pivotal person in the formation of our club and without him i doubt we would be the club we are today.
Dave was more than just our President, he was a working committee member, he took the time to attend county meetings and above all he supported us from the sidelines when we needed it.
When things weren't going our way he always saw the good points in us, he never criticised only complimented and encouraged.
I for one shall miss him and that long blue coat on the touchline.
